PESCI

A site-specific installation that represents the movement of fish in a school. Highly coordinated and dynamic, this movement functions like a kinf of collective dance, where everything is suspended in silence. For the artist Paolo Albertelli, it is as if the fish jumped out of the water, floated in the air and suddenly transformed into sound. In the piece, one can also notice that despite the cohesion, each fish maintains a minimal distance from the others a balance between closeness and space that ensures the fluidity of the movement. This was part of a bigger installation which has been exhibited in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, for the exhibition "Natureza Transformada" at Casa Fiat de Cultura.
