Bois + Stone

In a verse by Marina Cvetaeva it is said that "Beyond earthly attraction there is heavenly attraction". It exists. It is not a poetic image, but a precise natural observation. There is a force that pushes from the bottom upwards to challenge gravity. We can see it in eruptions, in tides, in hot air themrals that climb up sunny mountain walls. It is in the tree that seeks a place at the top.
